Beatrix Potter Society Reading at Monterey Museum of Art La Mirada Monterey, CA

• Readers: Carmen Curtis, Judith Hedgpeth, and Dale Schafer, from The Beatrix Potter Society, will read in conjunction with the exhibition
  Over Rainbows and Down Rabbit Holes: The Art of Children's Books - July 11th - September 13, 2009
• Guest Curator: Lolly Robinson, Beatrix Potter Society Member and Guest Curator of the Exhibition along with illustrator Gerald McDermott, will give a talk to the public about the Exhibition from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Afterwards Lolly Robinson will talk about Beatrix Potter's art in the exhibition.

'The Tales of Peter Rabbit' is touring throughout the country in 2009!

Premier Stage Productions Ltd, one of the UK's leading children's theatre companies, is delighted to announce a partnership with Frederick Warne to bring "The Tales of Peter Rabbit" to theatres all over the United Kingdom, beginning February 2009.

This brand new production, live on stage, will feature a specially commissioned script based around Beatrix Potter's classic Peter Rabbit stories. With brand new songs and beautifully designed scenery and costumes, this show is destined to bring the books to life in a new and exciting way.

Join Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny on their adventure through the forest to Mr McGregor's garden, the one place Peter was told not to go!

They'll be meeting some friendly and familiar faces on the way, and maybe someone not quite so friendly. Mr McGregor himself, a giant of a man! The story will be narrated by our very own Beatrix Potter.

The production is sure to delight fans of Peter Rabbit both young and old. The tour visits theatres right across the U.K, so keep an eye out for tour dates on the Peter Rabbit website as there is bound to be one near you!
